The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The swimming pools were a great feature, with an outdoor pool that was refreshing and an indoor pool that was perfect for relaxation.

The location of the hotel was quite remote, making it a bit difficult to access without a car. the options for dining were limited to either the hotel's restaurant or nearby villages, both of which required transportation.

Almost everything was ok. That's a new hotel with a good design and facilities, and also a good service. Located on a large Porto vineyard and very relaxing. Excellent value for the money.

The rooms are really good, but please change the rooms lighting - it´s too cold (too much white). Then it will be perfect!

I had the most amazing stay at a hotel in Mesao Frio called Douro Scala. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with one of the best views I've ever seen. Overlooking the Duoro River and the terraced river valley, the setting was truly breathtaking. The pool area was brilliant and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The hotel itself was beautiful and had all the luxurious facilities I expected. What surprised me the most was the unbelievable price for such a nice hotel. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were spacious and lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a bathtub and shower with great amenities. I couldn't find any faults at all with my stay.
